How Can We Say Goodbye?

They told me to use songs to wish you a happy farewell, but I didn’t. Happy with me or without me? Those are the words of a loser who didn’t love you enough mi amor. I am proud of this selfishness that keeps your name stabbing my core like a sword.

You like it, don’t you honey eyes? Your subconscious is enamored with this loco who desires you more than life itself. It is enchanting to know of a man willing to kidnap Jesus and pimp his faith if you ask for it… You only have to ask for it.

Will you ever tell me of the man to who you promised your body and loyalty? Will you ever tell him how much you loved me but never told me? Will he ever know that I poured my blood in a golden cup so you will never have to be thirsty again? Will he know how my finger wrote constellations and zodiacs on your freckleless back?

That’s alright mi Bella queen; secrets and sources of power cannot leak the walls of our brains. But tell me, even if you no longer want to smell the cologne on my hairy chest, will you ever be willing to abandon my name?
